Sometimes Ya Just Gotta Have Fun!
After two and a half days of intense "drinking from a fire hose" information, sometimes it's good to just relax a little. This afternoon, the last of three days of Charter School Boot Camp, participants got to see authorizers and technical assistance providers role play a charter school applicant's hearing. These were not actors!

It was helpful for Boot Camp attendees to better understand what a charter school hearing is like. Especially the different types of reactions that can be anticipated and tips on "what not to do." Sometimes it's the practical knowledge that's the most intimidating to charter applicants.
